Marina del Este

Marina del Este is a luxurious complex, situated in the most beautiful corner of the Tropical Coast, between Nerja and Almuñécar; in the national road N-340, at only one hour from Malaga and Granada airports.

The site covers twenty-five and half hectares and is characterized by a thirty percent slope which dramatically plunges 100 meters to the sea. As a result, a large vacío forms itself and grows out of this dynamic setting.

At a distance from the national highway, the project appears as an autonomous and self-sufficient natural tourist center well integrated into the existing natural vacíos. A marina is organized to afford the public and private spaces with multiple views and a gateway to the sea.

This detailed form endows the port with character, creating a variety of layers which come together in the main plazas, visually blending in with the boat area.
