PADI
Rescue Diver
The PADI Rescue Diver course is an important and crucial step
to expanding your knowledge and experience beyond a purely recreational
level. Rescue divers learn to look beyond themselves to consider
the safety and well being of others. This is why the PADI Rescue
Diver rating is a prerequisite for all PADI leadership training
(Divemaster, Assistant Instructor and Open Water Scuba Instructor).
This course will ready you to anticipate and help prevent problems
and, if necessary, manage dive emergencies using a variety of
techniques. The course consists of 5 Academic sessions and 5
Open Water sessions comprising of 12 rescue exercises and the
completion of 5 correlating knowledge reviews. In addition you
have to complete a short multiple-choice Final Exam. On successful
completion of the course you'll be awarded the PADI Rescue Diver
certification card, recognised worldwide. Click
